I can't belive i payed for this...

"This shock mount is rubbish. I am sad to say so, but I would never rely on it for a Recording session. If you tilt the microphone even a little bit it slides on the rubber bands and dives down. I love the sound of the microphone, it really is great! But the gimmicky design makes it hard to find another shock mount for it. I ended up buying the largest model from Rycote and if you unscrew the holders for the JZ shock mount you can just manage to squeeze it in there. For a €90 shock mount I expect more!! This is unfortunatly just very expensive garbage."

"Just as the title implies this shockmount keeps the whole mic very slim and easy to stick somewhere narrow. It is not the most rigid of mounts but it will do for most micking needs. I am glad to use it with the Amethyst."
