Unbeatable
"It took me a several years of recording myself to get used to my own voice. But only after singing and speaking into THIS very microphone, I began to truly love my own voice, which I thought was impossible before. I am using it on my voice exclusively for half a year and I can't be happier. The depth, yet crispiness and everything being concrete and detailed – you really don't need to do much in the post. This is simply the best mic I've ever used and heard. I am very excited what this will do on double-bass or guitar amp, I bet it will be killer! The only weakness is actually the main design principle – the "black hole" and the mount system. It is cool idea, cool name, cool design, but unfortunately it hardly works. The mic is swivelling on the joints left and right and every step you make or light touch on the mic stand is transferred to the sound through the mount. Which actually proves how full and bass responsive the mic is, but you need to be very careful or just use proper shock mount. I have an idea and I will maybe try to make my own since the JZ one is quite expensive. But that's still a minor issue and this beast was worth every penny. If I was rich, I would buy a whole bunch of them!!!"
