MIX Magazine
V67 midrange repeatedly blew me away with its rendition of the instruments I tried it on. It excelled on guitar amps, over a drum kit, on tenor saxophone and with male vocals. It’s been awhile since I’ve heard a mic that worked so well across a wide range of applications.

Sound on Sound
The Vintage 11 sounds very natural — the highs are all present, but without clawing at your eardrums, as they seem to do with some mics. The output responds well to EQ, which is helped by the very low self‑noise

PRO Audio Review
V67 and V47 do delightful things to voices and acoustic instruments: colorful, artistic things that are best suited for those with big mic closets housing more neutral offerings, when "natural" is what you need.

I found the entire line of JZ microphones to be a substantial step forward into new microphone technology, that not only compares to the "classics" we have all grown to love, but in some cases, almost beats them.

Having worked in so many session over the years I have to say it was really exciting to do some out of the ordinary sessions for Lady Gaga using some of my new toys, the JZ mics V47 and V67 microphones. They excel in so many uses, from acoustic bass, to amplified bass, or vocals, strings, and guitar. I ended up naturally gravitating towards them, even though I had a great vintage microphone selection to my disposal.

U2, The White Stripes
I'm impressed with the V67. We are using it for a lot of the lead vocals on Christina Perri's album. We go back and forth between the V67 and a vintage U67 from Sunset Sound. It truly lives in the same family as the original. Certainly a more open , hi-fi modern version of the tube.

"My V67 Sounds amazing. Great microphone at great price."
"The microphone works better for instruments but doesn't fully suit my voice."
"What a great microphone! Love on first hear."
"I tested the mic against many other big brands mics and this one performs beautifully. I will not say it wins for everything. . . it's a different color and definitely more than usable for many applications. Among all mics on the test V67 was a clear winner for recording acoustic guitar IMHO."
"Mostly used on overheads so far. Normally use ribbons on OH such as Coles or AEA but this sounds amazing when you want a little more shine. It’s never harch sounding. It’s smooth and has that sound of a vintage mic. Cool for some vocals and great for electric guitar. Easy to use and great bang for the buck. Would definitely recommend!"
"I'm loving the sound of the V67 - warm but detailed, as advertised. Looks and feels great to handle too. One disappointment is that all the video reviews mentioned the ball-joint mic clip as included and useful, but it didn't come with one. Without it, the 'fixed-bayonet' design makes it awkward to position. It's not always appropriate or possible to use the shock mount, which is quite large and tricky to use in tight spaces. But, most importantly, I think it sounds great, and that's what matters."
"Awesome mic for the bucks"
"Hi . The Vintage 67 is a lovely mic. However I thought it would come with a swivel ball joint adaptor as mentioned in reviews of the product . Dave Keary +353-87 2873901"
"I originally bought my first V67 last year as I was looking for a great all-round vocal mic and had seen some fantastic reviews. Eventhough I have some great Neumann and Shire options for vocals, the V67 has become my default vocal mic. . . so I had to by another for other tasks - acoustic guitar / guitar cabs - but it sounds awesome on anything tbh. Want a third now. ."
"The sound is incredible. When I record, I feel like it's doing everything for me. Really great piece."
