WEEE Directive

JZ Microphones Ltd complies fully with Directive 2002/96/EC on the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). That is, from January 1st, 2006 all JZ Microphones products that need to be recycled or handled separately are marked with the WEEE label in accordance with the directive.

JZ Microphones Ltd are prepared to accept scrapped equipment from customers and sort them for later waste disposal. Please observe that although JZ Microphones is accepting used equipment for service that may later be scrapped, it is a national obligation to fulfill the requirements of the WEEE directive. 

Our distributors are obliged to register in accordance with their national legislation. And, as the interpretation of the directive may vary slightly from one area or country to another for which the directive applies, it will be up to the national distributors to accept waste equipment from end users and dispose it according to the national laws.

 

RoHS Directive

JZ Microphones Ltd complies fully with Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Materials (RoHS). That is, JZ Microphones Ltd confirm that all products meets the requirements of the RoHS directive.

All necessary dispositions have been taken in relation with our suppliers to ensure that constitutive materials do not include any substance forbidden by the regulation currently applicable on the market. Our main efforts have been to ensure that all soldering spots are made leadless, but also all components have been screened and substituted when required.
