Having worked in so many session over the years I have to say it was really exciting to do some out of the ordinary sessions for Lady Gaga using some of my new toys, the JZ mics V47 and V67 microphones. They excel in so many uses, from acoustic bass, to amplified bass, or vocals, strings, and guitar. I'm impressed with the V67. We are using it for a lot of the lead vocals on Christina Perri's album. We go back and forth between the V67 and a vintage U67 from Sunset Sound. It truly lives in the same family as the original. Certainly a more open , hi-fi modern version of the tube.

JZ Vintage 11 is so smooth

"JZ Vintage 11 is a super sweet sounding large diagphram microphone. I already had one and recently ordered second one. Now I can use them in my drum recording setup. I use these pair of V11's in a Recordman construction with some near mics. My recording space is not very high so that is why Recordman works best for me. I prefer Recordman over Glyn Johns because snare and kick stay more focused. Sometimes GJ works well also, it depends how the music sounds as whole. JZ Vintage 11 is very warm and the highs are sweet. With extra mics like "the würst" or a ribbon in front of the drum set you can add more color saturating and compressing them really hard. But it is good to have these nice sounding V11 mics as the basis of the drum sound. JZ V11 works well on vocals, acoustic guitar and many more instruments. It is one of the best mics that I know!"

Great Mic, shame about the delivery charge.

"You get one star (and you barely deserve that) as after paying a £25 delivery charge and thinking I was getting a bargain on a hugely discounted quality mic, I was shocked and insulted to be forced to pay a further £85 when the mic was delivered to my doorstep. Needless to say, I will never order from your company again and would not, in my wildest dreams, advise anyone else to do likewise. To say that I feel misled is a massive understatement; oh, and I have yet to receive an apology regarding this issue from the email I sent at least a month ago. Perhaps this might pique your attention? Do you even care???💩💩💩"
