It has great detail and depth, it's very accurate and can take a lot in without breaking a sweat! It does very well when compared to many other mics that cost a lot more. Beautiful high sound

"I used this microphone for vocal recording. My first impression was that it was the ideal microphone for recording the ideal sound. I always thought that if I was going to EQ and suppress the midrange when recording, why not just suppress the midrange in the microphone itself in the first place (I understand that is difficult). But this microphone recorded exactly what I thought it would. My friend explained to me that the diaphragm used in this mic is what makes it sound the way it does. It is a flagship, so it is expensive, but it is one that I do not regret."

"I'm extremely pleased with the mic - it is super versatile! Love it on male and female vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar amp and also drum overheads. My bh1s is airy and detailed but at the same time rich in low frequencies. Sits well on the mix. I did not like it on wind instruments but otherwise - 9 out of 10!"
